#2 Etched Lake Superior in Basalt Pendant
Here is a second etched Basalt stone by local gem cutter Bob Wright, on which I have wire woven the bail in copper and fine silver, then oxidized for a darker patina. The Basalt stone is larger than the 1st, approx. 1 3/4"L x 1 3/8"W.
With the bail it's approx. 2 1/8" in length.
The etching has Lake Superior and also a wave pattern along the bottom - love it! There is naturally occurring agate in the Basalt host rock, and even a blue agate "cloud".
Since this is a little larger pendant, I have it on a 3mm black rubber cord with sterling silver lobster clasp - 20" length. I have 18" available or other chain options if wanted.
This piece is now in LIZZARDS Gallery in Duluth MN, so please check with me for availability or any questions.
