Fossil Ammonite (Pleuroceras) Wire-Wrapped Pendant
Pleuroceras is a fossil ammonite found in Germany that has a natural Pyrite mineral coating, giving a golden highlight to the intricate spiraling of the ancient fossil. I have wire wrapped it in a combination of copper wire, argentium silver, and fine silver, with sterling beads, and a formed bead of copper and brass with hematite. This pendant combines a specimen of archeology with art to admire and enjoy! Included is the 20", 3 mm black rubber cord with sterling silver lobster clasp shown here.
